No pet has to hurt. This is the foundation of our approach, and led to our incorporation of acupuncture and laser therapy for our patients.
What is acupuncture?
We stimulate energy flow, qi, through the body by placing tiny needles in specific points. The doctor begins with a comprehensive examination to determine your pet’s health, and determines what we are trying to help by rebalancing the body. This leads to specific points for the needles. Acupuncture can be performed with dry needles, which stay in place for 10-20 minutes, or with injections of tiny amounts of Vitamin B.
What is laser therapy?
We stimulate healing of specific body areas with our 12-watt laser, which infuses the body tissues with the energy they need to speed healing.
What health problems can be helped with these? We can help MANY problems with acupuncture and/or laser therapy.

There is a lot of overlap between the two. In general, acupuncture is more appropriate when there are multiple problems, and laser often is more effective with a specific problem. Some pets may respond better to one or the other, or we may recommend both.
